DYS-LEARN Project - Summary 
The DYS-LEARN partnership has a large number of partners (14), from 13 different countries because they see this project as the start of a Grundtvig dyslexia network project in the future. The partners are very complementary in nature: there are several national non-profit associations as dyslexia associations, institutions of formal and non-formal adult education, universities, a special needs school, specialised training centres for adults with learning difficulties and private companies offering services and consultancy. But there are also partners representing a regional educational authority and a European association working on the equality issue and representing local authorities, institutes and partners from 22 EU members. Most of the partners have a large experience in European projects but some specialised organisations do participate for the first time.

Implementation
The DYS-LEARN partnership will function as a centre for testing and implementation of tools and methods of support for dyslexics or their trainers. They will also be useful in the dissemination and exchange of the good practice and modi operandi in the different countries, which might result in a mainstream European approach. They will compose a ‘state of the art on dyslexia’ for their country but indicate also gaps in the legislation or implementation. More...
